Stop 3 of the Wake United Surf + Wake Series Delivers Another Incredible Weekend at Thigh High Surf + Wake
The 2026 Wake United Surf + Wake Series kept the momentum rolling as riders from across the Southeast gathered at Lake David Park in Groveland, Florida, for Stop 3 – Thigh High Surf + Wake on May 30-31. With exciting competition, great weather, and an enthusiastic crowd, the weekend showcased exactly what the Wake United community is all about—progression, sportsmanship, and fun.
Throughout the weekend, competitors of all ages and skill levels hit the water behind award-winning Nautique boats, pushing their limits in wakeboard, wakesurf, and foil divisions. From first-time competitors gaining valuable contest experience to seasoned riders chasing podium finishes, every run reflected the passion and determination that continues to define the Wake United Surf + Wake Series.

Beyond the competition, families, friends, and spectators enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere that has become a hallmark of every Wake United event. Riders cheered each other on, shared new friendships, and celebrated accomplishments both big and small, creating memories that extended far beyond the awards ceremony.

With three stops now complete, the excitement continues to build as competitors earn valuable series points heading into the final event of the season. Every ride, every trick, and every finish brings athletes one step closer to the overall Wake United Surf + Wake Series Championship.
