New Boat, Previous Model Year: A Smart Buy for South Carolina Boaters

Every new model year, boat prices go up, and buyers in South Carolina pay a premium just for the newest year on the title. This 2025 Balise Helix 24C lets you skip that premium. It is a new boat, it has never been owned, and it delivers the same exceptional on the water experience Balise is known for. The main difference is the model year on the paperwork, and that is exactly why it is priced so far below a newer model year boat.

For South Carolina buyers, that is a big advantage: new boat quality, new boat condition and new boat confidence without paying the newest model year price. Model year changes are often small refinements rather than a different boat, so the ride and the performance on Lake Murray feel the same. The savings stay in your pocket.

• A new Helix 24C, not a used boat with hours and history
• Priced well below newer model year boats sold in South Carolina
• The same Balise build quality, design and performance
• The discount comes from the model year, not the condition of the boat

What Makes Balise Different

Balise is a Michigan pontoon builder with roots tied to Crest and MasterCraft, and its goal is simple: build the most luxurious and innovative pontoon on the water. The Helix line shows that in the details. Instead of the aluminum fence panels found on most pontoons, the Helix uses a gelcoated fiberglass exterior and powder coated tubes and skirting that give it the sleek look of a luxury sports car.

Luxury Features That Set the Helix Apart

The Helix platform is known for a long list of premium touches. Depending on configuration, Helix 24C models can include:

• A powered electric lounger with multiple positions
• Heated seating for cool mornings and evenings
• Chilled cup holders
• A powered cooler lift that lowers into the water off the transom
• A steering wheel designed by Italian race car driver Max Papis
• Balise premium audio
• Dual Simrad touchscreen displays at the helm
• Ambient RGB lighting

A Smooth, Confident Ride

The Helix rides on three 26 inch pontoons with lifting strakes on both sides of each tube. That tritoon setup helps the boat lift, track and turn with confidence and handle choppy water with ease. Pair it with Mercury outboard power and the Helix delivers responsive handling for cruising, watersports, tubing and long days exploring the lake.

Built for Entertaining

At 24 feet with an 8 foot 6 inch beam, the Helix 24C gives you plenty of room for family and friends, with plush seating, smart storage and a layout made for hanging out. Whether you are hosting a sunset cruise, anchoring up for a swim or pulling the kids on a tube, the Helix makes every day on the water feel premium.
