The second stop of the 2023 Thigh High Surf + Wake Series brought the grassroots contest series back to the Orlando Watersports Complex on May 6-7 with more than 85 riders, including fully stacked foil and wakeboard and wakesurf Legends and Masters (ages 35-54) divisions.
Outside of watching the non-stop on-water action, participants enjoyed complimentary festival glitter, custom caricature drawings and tie dying Nautique tees; live music with Ashley Picanza and DJ WH1TTNE55; shopping leading lake lifestyle vendors, including Touchless Boat Cover, Roswell Marine, Wake for Warriors, Kissimmee Motors Sports, A Brilliant Finish, Lake Lovers Club, Next Level, Jetsurf Orlando, Surf Union, SuperDuper Surf, Rain Clothing, Wave-X Apparel and more; yo-yo demos with an 8-time national Philippines yo-yo champion and a doubles demo with pro wakeboarders Danny Harf and Shaun Murray.
The final stop of the series is taking place June 3-4 at the elusive Lake Ronix, home to the Ronix wake brand.
